Head back down the hall toward the center of the building. You may view any of our large learning studios on the second – fourth floors. We recommend rooms 440 or 344.

We are one of the largest engineering programs in the country but no class in the Texas A&M University College of Engineering has more than 100 students in it. As students step inside a learning studio, instead of desks, the Zachry learning studios offer technology worktables with wireless connectivity and multidevice sharing screens. Active learning technology allows professors to share content in multiple ways with students. Professors can also pull content from students and share it with the class, making the classroom one big collaborative environment.
The learning studios were designed with industry feedback to help create more of a teamwork environment as opposed to the old individual desk-style rooms, so you will not find any of the large auditorium-style rooms in Zachry.
