Halliburton Engineering Global Programs develops high-quality, high-impact global engineering programs to expand professional skills and global opportunities for our students. Its mission is to prepare engineering students to lead in the global industry and society. Preparing engineering students with a global mindset is crucial in current times. The National Academy of Engineering states that a core need for engineers is to be able to work with a diverse, multinational and multidisciplinary workforce. To be leaders in the industry and to solve our society’s biggest challenges, we need to understand what is happening in the world and be able to collaborate to find relevant solutions.

The program sends thousands of engineering students every year to various global programs. Global programs can begin as early as freshman year and can take the form of semester-long trips, summer internships and even shorter impact experiences.
